RECIPE #60 SPRAYS FROM TOMATO LEAVES Categories: Garden, Bugs, How to make, Repellents ORGANIC GARDENING MAGAZINE MAY\JUNE ISSUE 1993 Tomato sprays made from the leaves of everybody's favorite crop have long been touted to control a variety of pests. The sprays do attract the predatory insects that prey on corn earworms and aphids. Researches at the University of California at Davis found tomato leaves are not popular with cutworms and armyworms. To make your own spray, finely chop 1 cup of tomato leaves, then soak them overnight in 2 cups of water. Strain and add 2 more cups of water to the strained liquid, then spray. -----
