RECIPE #49  HIBISCUS THAT WON'T BLOOM

  For hibiscus that won't bloom. 
1. With a serrated bread knife insert between pot and soil and go
     around the edge with knife.
 2. With a coat hanger, poke down in  the soil in varying depths 
     from half way between the plant and pot to the outside edge of soil.
     Sprinkle with Epsom salts. For an 8-10" pot use 1 T Epsom salts.    
     Then use this tonic. 1 gallon water 1/4 teaspoon instant     
     tea 1/2 teaspoon gelatin 1/2 teaspoon household ammonia 1/2     
     teaspoon children's shampoo, 1 cap whiskey, 2 oz. apple         
     juice 1 tablespoon fish emulsion. Use this as your        
     watering medium.
