RECIPE #41 PRESERVING FLOWERS WITH BORAX

  20 Mule Team Borax also tells how to preserve fresh       
  cut flowers "Permanently".  
  2 parts borax to 1 part dry white sand, 
  or 1 part borax to 2 parts corn meal. Put     
  some mixture in container, lay in flowers that are       
  free of surface moisture, cover with more of mixture.     
  seal box, let set for 7 to 10 days (experiment)
