I HAVE A JUNGLE IN MY HOUSE!

These pics were taken 2-26-01; I've FINALLY gotten a few outside, but the weather's not cooperating much.

(Click on the thumbnails for a full-sized pic!)

In the master bath, just inside the door.  In the forefront is cholla, and just behind it is an agave.  Right behind the cholla and next to the agave is a water plant that survived a year's worth of neglect.  On the shelf,  in the front is spineless prickly pear and in the very background is Eve's Needle and Blue Torch cacti.  And yes, in the bathtub, that is aloe, about to bloom!

Again in the master bath, looking towards the window.  There's cholla cuttings on the edge of the bathtub; on the ledge I have some peperomia, a spider plant, a dracaena, an unidentified philodendron, a cutting of purple prickly pear;on the window ledge is a cactus and

In the kitchen, on the island, is my collection of African violets ... they seem to LOVE the light from the skylight above.  Hanging above the island is an African violet and a purple passion vine. Also, sitting on the breadmaker is a spider plant and on the island top is an unidentified aloe variety.  On the floor in the kitchen are plants, too, and if you could only see the counter next to the sink and the window ledge .......

In the laundry room, on top of the dryer, is a collection of cacti, agave, an inch plant and some cuttings.  On the floor in the laundry room is a pot of calla lilies and a pot with an elephant ear (I'm trying to get an early start on it!) in it.

In hubby's office, hogging the window, are two shelves covered in baby plants.

In the guest bath (thank God we've not had overnight guests lately!), there are TWO shower rods with purple heart, wax vine, lipstick vine, pothos and several spider plants.

Also in guest bath - on the top of the toilet!  Two kinds of ivies and an unidentified peperomia (I think).

In the guest bath, on the counter!  From left to right, I have another unidentified philodendron, an aloe (?) variety, silver squill and a pot of narcissus.

In my office, the window is usurped by (top shelf) a jade plant, purple waffle plant, a pilea, a hot pink plant I don't have the name of and a Never-Never plant.  On the second shelf is a watch-chain plant (crassula), a hot-pink plant they called "Irisene" at the greenhouse, some stapelia and in the crate is a small Chinese Evergreen and a Birdsnest Sanseveria.  On the bottom shelf is a barely-hanging-on burro's tail (the cats knocked it over) and a basin holding some gasteria, I think ... haven't been able to find a pic of them yet.

This is the dining room (no, we don't eat in here!  LOL).  On the chair is a crate with plants that go in and out of doors, depending on the weather.  To the left of the chair is a garden cart that goes in and out, too.  On the top left are plants on a stereo speaker and behind the table (not visible, really) is a cart with 3 shelves and a small table next to it with plants on it, too.

This is in the LR, in the doorway between the LR and kitchen.  The large black pot in the back is a rose hubby salvaged from our house in Phoenix.  In front of it is a ficus tree, and on the credenza is more stapelia and an arrowroot plant.
