Flora of New Mexico

The Jemez Mountains

These are wildflowers, trees, cacti and other plants I have identified since moving here. This will be an on-going project, of course!  (Click on the Common Name to see a page related to the plant.)

Since I moved to an entirely different state and climate, I'm researching the wildflowers and plants I'm finding in the Jemez corridor (La Cueva to San Ysidro).

This will be an ongoing project so if you'd like to be notified when I update the page, send me an e-mail and I'll put you on my list!

I intend to take my own pictures eventually, but right now I do not have a camera that will allow me to take close-ups.  However, I've already asked Santa for a digital camera for Christmas, so keep your fingers crossed for me!  :)

In the meantime, I've provided links to pictures of the plants that I've found on the Web.
